It is a town in Chamba district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. Dalhousie is a very beautiful tourist place located in the middle of the Dhauladhar mountain ranges. The British settled and developed it in 1854 and the place was named Dalhousie after the then Viceroy Lord Dalhousie.
